Regalia®-NEW Fungal and Bacterial Disease Control
Regalia® triggers a plant’s natural defense systems to protect against a variety of fungal and bacterial pathogens. Used in tank mixes, program rotations, and stand-alone, Regalia provides proven control of important fungal and bacterial diseases including Powdery Mildew, Downy Mildew, Botrytis Gray Mold, Early Blight, Late Blight, Citrus Canker, Brown Rot, Greasy Spot, Bacterial Leaf Spot, Target Spot, Gummy Stem Blight, Walnut Blight, and others.
Regalia has been successfully evaluated by many university and independent researchers on a vast range of crops and diseases. Results prove that Regalia is as effective as many leading conventional fungicides. It is also an excellent addition to your current tank mix or rotational program for resistance management.
How Regalia Works
When treated with Regalia, the defense systems of crops are ‘switched on’ to protect against attacking diseases. Research shows that plants treated with Regalia produce, and accumulate, elevated levels of specialized proteins and other compounds known to inhibit fungal and bacterial diseases. Regalia induces a plant to produce phytoalexins, cell strengtheners, antioxidants, phenolics, and PR proteins, which are all known inhibitors of plant pathogens.
An Excellent New Tool for Resistance Management
There is known resistance to many commonly used fungicides including DMIs and strobilurins, but there is very low risk for resistance with Regalia (see chart below). Incorporate Regalia into your existing fungicide program to provide a novel mode of action, and to manage resistance. Regalia can be tank mixed or used in rotation with most commercially available fungicides providing the ultimate in flexibility.
Tolerance Exempt
Regalia is exempt from tolerance requirements in or on all food commodities in accordance with the United States EPA federal regulation 40CFR180.1259.
Rainfast in One Hour
Regalia is rainfast in only one hour, so growers can get important sprays out and protect crops even in tough weather, or when moisture conditions are conducive to disease development.
Four Hour REI and Zero Day PHI
Regalia carries a re-entry interval (REI) of only four hours, so workers can get back in the field quickly. With a zero day pre-harvest interval (PHI), growers can now protect crops right up to harvest.
Can Be Used in Both Conventional and Organic Production
Regalia is recognized as fully compliant for use on organic crops by the National Organic Program (NOP) and is listed by OMRI. Organic growers can now access the same powerful Regalia used by conventional growers.![]()

Regalia General Use Recommendations
| Prevention | Regalia is recommended as a preventative treatment. |
| Use in Rotation or Tank-Mixing |
As a general recommendation, Regalia can be applied at 1-4 quarts per acre when used in rotation or tank mixed with another fungicide. |
| Greenhouse Use | Regalia is labeled for greenhouse use on many edible crops and ornamentals. |
| Aerial Application | Regalia can be applied by aerial application to many crops, including leafy greens and citrus |
Almonds
During almond bloom in California, nearly all flower parts are very susceptible to infection with Brown Rot Blossom Blight. University research proves that Regalia is the most effective natural product for controlling Brown Rot in almonds. In the study, trees treated with Regalia had approximately 80% less Brown Rot than untreated trees. Regalia was even effective at controlling Brown Rot on Butte, a cultivar that is known to be highly susceptible to the disease.
Blueberries
Regalia offers blueberry growers a unique mode of action to control Mummy Berry, Anthracnose, and Alternaria. Field trials in Michigan prove that Regalia controls Mummy Berry as well as leading triazole fungicides. Additional research in Michigan proves that Regalia controls Alternaria and Anthracnose, and increases yield in blueberry.
Cucurbits
Regalia is proven to synergize DMIs and strobilurins for superior disease control in cucurbits. Field studies on cantaloupe in Florida and muskmelon in California prove that better control of Powdery Mildew is provided by Regalia plus a DMI fungicide than by the DMI fungicide alone. Additionally, university trials in Georgia prove that DMIs and strobilurins are more effective at controlling Gummy Stem Blight on watermelon when used in a program with Regalia.
Grapes
Season-long control depends on preventing early-season infection. University field trials indicate that Regalia provides excellent early-season and mid-season control of Powdery Mildew, and Regalia synergizes with DMIs and quinoxyfen when used in rotation. Oils cannot be safely used with sulfur, but Regalia can be used with sulfur in Powdery Mildew control programs. And, with a zero-day PHI, growers can also get effective late-season control of Botrytis Bunch Rot with Regalia.
Leafy Greens
Regalia is a powerful new tool against the most destructive disease of lettuce and spinach: Downy Mildew. And, Regalia also provides effective control against Powdery Mildew, so growers get control of both devastating diseases with only one product. Research performed in Monterey County, California, proves that adding Regalia to standard tank mixes substantially improves the efficacy of Downy Mildew control programs.
Tomatoes and Peppers
Regalia offers tomato and pepper growers an effective new tool to protect crops against Bacterial Spot and other diseases including Late Blight, Early Blight, Target Spot, Powdery Mildew, and Botrytis. New
university research in Florida proves that Regalia plus copper provides better control of Bacterial Spot than copper alone.
Regalia also provides effective and economical control of Powdery Mildew. University trials in California prove that Regalia provides excellent control of Powdery Mildew when alternated with low rates of strobilurins or DMIs. In fact, field trials in Fresno prove that Regalia plus low rates of either pyraclostrobin or myclobutanil are as effective as high rates of pyraclostrobin or myclobutanil combined.
Walnuts
Copper resistance is known to exist in walnut orchards in the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys. Adding Regalia to copper improves control of Walnut Blight. University and independent research conducted in Northern California has shown that Regalia controls Walnut Blight as well as copper hydroxide and mancozeb. Regalia is proven, effective, readily available, and tolerance exempt by US EPA.
