Active Ingredient
Grandevo is the first new broad spectrum bacterial insecticide introduced since Bt more than 60 years ago. The active ingredient in Grandevo is a new species of Chromobacterium, named subtsugae.

Mode of Action
Grandevo has multiple modes of action and controls pests through ingestion, contact and repellency. When unwanted insects encounter Grandevo, they become highly agitated and try to remove the product from their bodies. When it is ingested, the targeted insects will stop feeding and die.

Broad Spectrum Activity
Grandevo controls a broad spectrum of both chewing and sucking insect pests. University and independent field trials prove that the performance of Grandevo is equal to or better than that provided by many chemical insecticides. Grandevo can be used for managing psyllids, thrips, mealybugs, leaf miners, stinkbugs, lygus, leaf beetles, white grubs, armyworms, and many other pests.

PHI and REI
Grandevo has a 0-day pre-harvest interval (PHI) and has a minimum 4-hour re-entry interval (REI), enabling crops to be harvested soon after application.

Residue Management
Grandevo is exempt from the requirement of a food tolerance, which is particularly important for exported crops that are subject to maximum residue levels.

For Use in Conventional and Organic Production
Grandevo is well suited for rotation in resistance management programs to help prolong the efficacy of conventional pesticides. Grandevo is also compliant with the National Organic Program (NOP) and listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). Organic growers can assess the same powerful Grandevo used in conventional production.
